Explore the highest waterfall in West Africa; Wli Waterfalls

In the land of Wli in the Volta Region is the Wli Waterfalls, the highest waterfall in Ghana and the tallest in the whole of West Africa. 

Locally called Agoomatsa waterfalls meaning, “Allow Me to Flow“, Wli waterfalls is about 280 kilometers from the capital Accra

The Wli Waterfalls has a beautiful view with so many fruit bats, butterflies and monkeys.

Wli Waterfalls is a lovely place to visit at any time of the year, especially from April to October when the falls are more audible as they fall. This fall has a lower fall which attracts most tourists, and an upper fall where tourists who want extra adventure visit.

Things to do when you visit Wli Waterfalls include a hike with your tour guide, a walk through the Agumatsa Wildlife Sanctuary, or a visit to  the village ostrich farm, a new project with an NGO to create sustainable jobs with income from the sale of eggs.
